After a successful start to the year at Shepherds Friendly, having been acknowledged as a Best Performing Provider by Defaqto, we’re happy to say that the celebrations aren’t over yet. 

We’ve recently won the Best Over 50’s Life Insurance Provider at the 2024 YourMoney.com Personal Finance Awards. 

YourMoney.com helps consumers gain a better understanding of their finances, including banking, insurance, and investments.  

These prestigious awards, which are one of the longest-standing in the industry, entered their 26th year and continue to identify and reward financial service providers for the quality of the plans they offer.  

Entries are shortlisted based on their price and structure, and then successful companies are judged by a panel of readers who mystery shops each one to benchmark the quality of service they provide.

We are delighted to share our recent recognition in the 2024 Defaqto Protection Service Review where we achieved five top three positions for Best Performing Provider for the third year in a row, including first place in three categories.

The Defaqto survey, which took place between August and September 2023, gave 294 financial advisers a chance to rank the importance of 10 categories of service in the protection sector, and how providers performed across each area.

We were rated first in the Provider strength and brand, Existing business administration, and Business development managers categories. We also placed in the top three in Commission and renumeration and Technical assistance.

The recognition from Defaqto underscores our commitment to providing high-quality service to our members and intermediaries.
